From Clothing Brand Owner to Web Developer
I didn’t start with code. I started by running a business.
My name is Sem, I'm a self-taught developer who spent five years building an online clothing brand from scratch - no funding, no shortcuts - just figuring it out day by day. I started that brand with £500 and it generated over £680k in sales, 14,000+ units sold and nearly a million website visitors.
Now I know thats not the largest business ever, but I ran it entirely on my own, from my bedroom and simply learned everything as I went along. Safe to say I learned a hell of a lot from that experience.
I’ve felt the pressure of making every pound count. I know what it’s like to build something from nothing and want every part of it, including the website, to actually work.
I've also been on the backend of grifters who promise you the world, only to be a leech on your business that you can't wait to get rid of and never work with again.
After having to liquidate that brand at the start of 2023, I decided to re-skill as a software developer and here we are. I now help small business owners get an online presence that does their work justice. I take great pride in the quality of the service I offer and only want happy, satisfied clients.
